Day 11

First in this morning again is Jenni. WAKE UP, Maureen!!!

Here's Jenni's comment and picture.

"Hi Jane.
Bertie and I are becoming well acquainted. He tells me wants to be a dragon when he grows up.....but I just don't know if that ambition is a bit far fetched.....
Hugs"

You'll both have to wait a bit longer to find out, Jenni!!!

Now that really WAS close in the race to be first! Maureen is next with her day 11. She says

"Hmmm...... now I don’t know whether it’s a dog or a dragon. So here he is on a piece of beautiful stitching my six year old granddaughter made for me at school!"

That's some beautiful stitching, Maureen.  I feel another tatter coming on eventually.

Next is a trip from Australia (Jenni and Maureen) to America to welcome Richard's day 11. He says simply

"Here is my next photo! Perhaps a dragon tail is next!
Richard"

Who knows, Richard? I'm not telling!!!

Kerstin is next to arrive and not long after Richard. It's only three quarters of an hour since day 11 was uploaded so you can tell how quickly these have come in.  Kerstin says

"Hi Jane,
my Day 11 leaves me wondering - one shuttle on the left side and one shuttle on the right side? Hm, lets wait and see, sorry tat and see, otherwise I’m very practiced in opening rings :o)
Kerstin"

It will be sorted over the shuttle problem when we get to day 12. I hope!!!!

You’re going to love Anita’s drawing here. I think it’s splendid. Here’s what she says

Hi Jane,
Meet my fierce but friendly dragon :-)

Wow that’s a good idea for a TIAS.  I love it.  Just wondering now whether you’re going to be disappointed at the end of the game, Anita.

Marco has just arrived in my inbox with her day 11 and she says

“ Here is day 11,
Ik still think it is a crocodile.
Greetings Marco”

Time will tell, Marco!!!

The next arrival is Elżbieta who says

Witaj Jane, w czasie transmisji z Pekinu, skoków narciarskich, zrobiłam zadanie jedenastego dnia Twojego wydarzenia:
Z niedzielnymi pozdrowieniami
Elżbieta.

Hello Jane, during the broadcast from Beijing, ski jumping, I did the task on the eleventh day of your event:
Z niedzielnymi pozdrowieniami
Elżbieta”

I hope Poland did well, Elzbieta.

Next in the inbox is Valerie who is trying to be patient!!! She says

Dear Jane,
Day 11 is here. I suppose there's an upper part to it's body so I'll try to be patient. You are such a teaser!
Happy Sunday!
Regds,
Valerie”

There could be, Valerie!!!!

Dorota is next to arrive and she says

“ Dzień dobry Janne :) piękny krodylek :))) cieszę się niedzielnym dniem i mam nadzieję że ty też :) lekcja odrobiona ,sprawia dużo przyjemności ja pozdrawiam
Good morning Janne :) beautiful crocodile :))) I'm enjoying my Sunday day and I hope that you too :) the lesson done, gives a lot of pleasure I greet ️“

I’m so pleased you’re enjoying the game, Dorota.

Next to drop in is Barbara and she says

Hello Jane on a cloudy sunday.
Your design is growing, today I made the tail and the creature can already jump and wag its tail. But is it a tail (?)
I love the tension in our work and all the guesswork.
By the way, now I'm wondering why my blue crocodile has picots on its back? Maybe he'll pack a backpack, throw it on his back and go away?

Witaj Jane w pochmurny, niedzielny dzień.
Twój projekt rozrasta się, dziś wykonałam ogon i stworzenie może już skakać i machać ogonem. O ile to jest ogon (?)
Uwielbiam to napięcie w naszych pracach i wszystkie domysły.
Tak na marginesie to teraz zastanawiam się po co mojemu niebieskiemu krokodylowi są pikotki na grzbiecie? Może spakuje plecak na grzbiet zarzuci i odejdzie w siną dal?
Barbara”

Well that could be the answer to those picots, Barbara but I’m afraid you’re going to have to wait a while longer to find out!!!!

Mary Jane is the next person in my inbox and she says this

“ Burrr it’s 16 this morning sidewalk ice so guess I’ll stay in again. But sun going to shine My little friend ready for his body sure exciting to have something”

Next to arrive is Sue who says

“ Her e Phreddeigh laughing because he's getting a longer tail!! He's asking if there'll be a sting in it.... I've said no, but he is unconvinced!!”

Well you’ll bot have to wait and see, won’t you?

Jane has arrived now with her day 11 and she says

“Oh goodness, I've made a mistake somewhere. I'm fudging it I'm afraid, my leguaan or whoever he is will have an extra long tail.

Well I’ve checked, Jane and I can’t see anything wrong with your ‘whatsit’.

Next is Paolo who has just dropped in to say

“ Ciao Jane, ecco il mio animaletto.
La mia nipotina dice che assomiglia ad un bassotto. Vedremo...

Hi Jane, here's my pet.
My granddaughter says it looks like a dachshund. We will see...”

I agree it does, Paolo but I’m not telling you if it is or not!!!  I love keeping secrets!

Marie-Claude has done a lovely picture of her TIAS. This is what she says

“Hello Jane,
Our mythical animal is a good singer, but a bad musician : he is playing wrong notes!!
Marie-Claude”

Oh dear - perhaps he needs lessons?

Andrea is next in the inbox queue and she says

“Hi Jane, here are days 9 & 10 together. I've been away for a couple of days, so got a bit behind! This is morphing into various critters ... my guess today is ...
Andrea x”

Well you’ve made the right guess, Andrea!!! It’s certainly a ……….!!  Well done.

Maria has now sent in her TIAS and she says

“so much fun that the tension stays in it until the end...
thank you so much!
Maria (Belgium, Bruges)”

I’m so glad you’re enjoying it all, Maria.

Katie V and her little ‘ensemble’ of TIAS’s has just arrived.  She thinks two of them might be sick but I’ll let her tell you.

Dear Jane,
Happy Sunday!   Two of the six little critters are perturbed as the resident tatter didn't read directions well and thus did not RW before the final ring.  They're wondering what mischief that might make.  The tatter isn't too concerned--those two will develop their separate character!  Meantime, while the six dance and run about on their fine legs, they're a little curious about what that tail will develop next--maybe a pompom?  maybe the scary point of a dino tail?  The tatter thinks their faces are too cute to have a scary dino tail.
Loving the fun!
Katie V in NC USA”

Next to arrive is Bernice who has this to say
“Lovely weather here, noon and already at 11 C and Sunshine
Since we are seeing a side profile, back to my dragon guess.
Cheers,
Bernice, shuttle tatting in Calgary Alberta Canada”

Thanks for the weather report, Bernice!  It’s been wet and windy here so hibernation was the only course of action for me today.  That and dealing with the TIAS!!!!

Margaret has just arrived and this is what she has tot say

“ Dear Jane,
After Day 11, I am still hopeful that ‘Doris the Dachshund’ will prevail, but am also very open to the fact that by Day 12, she might be growing up to be Doris the Dragon, Doris the Dingo or even Doris the Lizard! At least she finally has a name of her own!!!!
Margaret ”

Doris is a great name - whatever she turns out to be!!!!

I think Mary is hedging her guesses!!! She says this

“ Jane,
And here’s Day 11 - a dog, a dragon, a ???”

Marla has just arrived and she’s caught up too. She says

“Hi Jane…. I got caught up again! WooHoo!
Here is day 10-11 combined… & guess what!
It only took me about 3 tries to get the SCMR figured out again!
Now I’m just waiting to see what those 2 little picots on his back have in waiting…  Marla Nikirk

Ah, time will tell on those little picots!!!!

The final entries for today are from Pamela who says

“ Irish Dragons???? Maybe . Looking pretty pleased with themselves.”

Could be or probably not!!!  Time will tell!!!
