2nd part of 'tat it and see'

Abbreviations for today!!

R: ring SR split ring Cl close

SS switch shuttles RW reverse work

NB – I have used italics (and red text) where those who like to do ‘front side, back side’ tatting need to reverse the order of working double stitches. This does not apply to the second side of a regular split ring.

SR7: 6 – 2 / 6 – 2 Cl
R8: 2 + (SR7) 6 – 6 – 2 Cl
R9: 2 + (R8) 6 – 6 – 2 Cl RW SS
R10: 2 + (SR7) 6 – 6 – 2 Cl
R11: 2 + (R10) 6 – 6 – 2 Cl RW SS
SR12: 2 + (R9) 6 / 2 + (R11) 6 Cl

Done! And I think I have to re-think my list of four things it could be... I have a new guess to add now. Got away from the restaurant at 10.45 tonight, and straight back home to check out the blogsite! Ready and waiting for Sunday, Jane!!

So while using front side back side tatting you would use up joins on rings 10 and 11?

This is fun!

Weeellllll, tat's up to you as you're using the same colour on both shuttles. I'm not fussed on which way joins are done, personally if there's no colour 'spot' to show. I'm of the 'old school' where front side, back side tatting just don't worry me much!!!

With all my commitments I didn't think I would have time for this venture, but my curiosity got the better of me!! And so far it is only a little bit of tatting! Or are you storing up a storm for us dear Jane!!!!!

Sorry using Anonymous, but couldn't get it to go through with my google account.

Wanted to pop in and say hello, and let you know I've joined in on the, "Tat It And See".
Looking forward to the next part.

Anticipation is making me wait,

Hi Jane. Did "bit" #2 today. I switched to 20 thread and ecru - still doing the yellow, too, so I work yellow first and make all the boo boos there; then ecru works without a hitch - mostly,
I could have used red - like in a little red wagon.
I have two "wheels" now -
But I'm not making a guess as to 'what' it is yet.
