A day to remember for myself and BC3 as a new arrival dropped into my inbox yesterday. This is from Christine who had a few hiccups with her TIAS 2017 but managed to overcome them and has produced a truly lovely lady with an owl. Here's what she has to say.

Finishing the Duchess was delayed somewhat as she needed surgery... She complained of her eye being cloudy and having difficulty seeing (the first eye was a pearl bead). So I took out some stitches and gave her a pretty blue eye. Then it took awhile for her companion to arrive. :)
Threads used: Lizbeth #20-690 (mocha brown lt.) and Star Tatting Crochet thread, probably size 80 (grey).
Thanks for another fun challenge! I hope you and BC3 will challenge us again next year.
