March 28th

I'm pleased to show you Surya's boat today. Not sure why she was hiding in my spam folder, though!!! Thankfully I noticed and sent out a life belt to save her!!!
93. "Hello Jane,
I think it's been almost a month since I finished this, but I'm really bad at taking pictures. Still, I wanted to send off this late sailing boat and say thank you for an interesting tat.

25th March

Another fleet has sailed into harbour - welcome, Sarah!!!

92. "Hi Jane,
Shiver me timbers and blow me down! We made it! We ran into difficulty in the boat building shop. After frequently referring to Tips and Techniques in the Adventures of Brain Cell #3 and this Boat Building Manual to get these vessels sea worthy and ship shape, we have sailed over the briny ocean to you. Arrr! Thanks for the fun!
Sarah"

21st March

Another sailing boat has arrived after a long break. This is from Claudia who says:-

91. "Good afternoon Jane
I wanted to be number 100, but it does not look like this is going to happen soon....
I finished my two sailing boats about one week after the last day, when business calmed down a little bit.
The bigger boat is done in size 20, the smaller one in size 40, both Lizbeth.
Thank you very much for hosting TIAS again, and I am looking forward for next january. This is an excellent way to start the new year

8th March

Whooopppeeee - we've reached another round figure thanks to Kerstin. She says:-
90. "Dear Jane,
Thanks to you, Martha Ess and others, I last year put some Life onto this rather dull weaving I made in a leftover warp 20 years ago, it still lacked something, wich turned out to be this years TIAS, now in Place. I'm not sure about the colours, so I might do Another. The sails are in Flora 50 col.84 and the hull in Molnlycke 50 col.10.

A 2 year old TIAS!!!!

It amazes me time and time again how far reaching the TIAS has become. I'm showing you this message and the picture for the goat that was the Tat It And See two years ago.

"I did the TAIS with the course, the other girls did theirs later, this years we are doing it now, I give them 2 days at a time they have only just started up to page 4 we only ever meet once per week hence the long time doing it but they are loving this one and have all promised not to peek so far so good.

We don't have a problem if you would like to put it on the TAIS Blog your decision but I know there will be no objections. I know the other 2 girls very well we have been together as part of the group for almost 20 yrs

I am quite pleased with the picture , I just played with the wet felting then had to find something to finish the picture. Looks good in a display of lace showing people another dimension of tatting."

I find your TIAS a very good way of building the confidence of tatters, maybe the anticipation of the next sheet, anything to get them tatting.

Hope you like what we have done.
Happy Lacing,
Madge"

I look forward to seeing all your 2014 TIAS's later this year, Madge.

Cheryl has sent in another boat that she's made!!!  Here it is:-
" I’ll have to check out your information on tatting without blips. I see I have some there.
It’s windy and cold here today. We’re staying inside and keeping warm."

First of March

Slowly creeping in is Marco's boat. I have hopes now of hitting 100 boats over the next few weeks!!!

86. "hello Jane,
here is my ( not so good ) sailingboat.
it took a while, because the big sail was not upside down but the wrong way to the middle . hope this makes some sense haha.
so i have to start the second color again.
maybe when i have time left i will try again with all the tread in one size.
thanks for this one and looking forward for the next one.
greetings from
